PCG has been providing “Best in Class” marketing production services since 1992.
Premium Color Graphics was started in 1992 by John Watson and Mark Fitzgerald. Their primary clients came to PCG looking for color separations, retouching, and other pre-press services. With an eye to the future and foresight to see the shift in pre-press production, a decision was made in 2000 to purchase a 6-color Heidelberg offset press and to add folding, stitching, and other post-press offerings to their arsenal of services.
In 2006, a state-of-the-art Kodak Digital Next Press was purchased, along with two HP wide format poster printing devices. These new additions kept PCG on the cutting-edge and rounded out their digital services offering.
Twenty five years of meeting customer’s demands
Premium Color Graphics was started in 1992 by John Watson and Mark Fitzgerald. Their primary clients came looking for Color Separations, Retouching and other Pre-press services.
In 1993, Andy Griffin and his father in-law opened HandPack. Their primary clients came looking for hand assembly, kitting, fulfillment and distribution services.
HandPack launches full steam into the digital printing world by opening up an in-house printing shop designed to handle meeting events for their large pharmaceutical clients.
HandPack moves into its new 35,000 square ft. location and, to further offer their clients a one-stop shop, begins to offer warehouse and fulfillment capabilities.
As PCG grew they looked to HandPack for a partnership that would revolutionize their business. PCG and HandPack leveraged each other’s capabilities to provide their clientele with a true print to distribution model. By 2007 talks began about merging the 2 companies and by January of 2008 the deal was done, forming Premium Color Group.
Premium Color Group had worked out of 2 locations in Clifton and Carlstadt, NJ until 2014 when they moved to their current location at 651 Garden St, Carlstadt. Now both of PCG’s locations have merged into their headquarters adjacent to the Sun Chemical Worldwide Technical research facility.
Quarter century! That’s right, PCG will be celebrating our 25th year in 2017.
We are continuously growing with the industry to meet customer demands. PCG is always looking for new partnerships where we can leverage off each other to make our services and product stand above the rest.
